Ola electrical scooter costs down by as much as Rs 25,000

Indian EV scooter producer Ola Electric has introduced a worth discount of as much as Rs 25,000 for the S1 scooter line-up. However, these costs are relevant for a restricted time solely, only for the month of February.

Only the S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X+ (3kWh) fashions have lowered costs. In December 2023, the EV maker introduced a worth lower of Rs 20,000 for the S1 X+ mannequin, lowering its worth from the unique Rs 99,999 to Rs 89,999. Now, the worth has been additional lowered to Rs 84,999, providing a reduction of Rs 25,000.  

An Ola Electric spokesperson mentioned, “On the back of a strong vertically integrated in-house technology and manufacturing capabilities, we have been able to restructure costs and decided to pass on the benefits to customers. Priced equivalently to leading ICE scooters, we are confident that customers will now have no reason to buy an ICE scooter.”
