1,900hp Pininfarina Battista EV hypercar makes India debut

Mahindra-owned Pininfarina has debuted its Battista hypercar in India on the ongoing Hyderabad E-Motor Show. Globally revealed in early 2019, the Battista is a limited-run hypercar from the storied Italian design home. Described as “the most powerful road-legal Italian car ever built”, the all-electric Battista makes 1,900hp from a quad motor powertrain.

The Battista showcased in Hyderabad had the Indian tricolour flag livery on the rear. However, the car is merely for show and it’s extremely unlikely that it will likely be launched in India. 

Pininfarina Battista in India: technical particulars 

The Battista contains a quad-motor set-up (one on every wheel) that makes 1,900hp and a couple of,300Nm of torque. Pininfarina says that the hypercar can do 0-100 in underneath 2 seconds,0-300kph in lower than 12sec and attain a high pace of round 350kph. The motors are powered by a 120kWh battery pack that permits the EV hypercar to go a distance of 500km on a single cost and has charging speeds of as much as 180kW.
